Management of HMO Regulations
The Management of Houses in Multiple Occupation Regulations apply to all HMOs in England (certain parts take effect from 1st October 2007) and the regulations apply to all HMOs except section 257 HMOs (certain converted blocks of flats) in Wales.
A landlord is obliged to follow the regulations whether they need a licence or not.
