Typical Rates
We can provide cover for most types of property. You should check with Heath Lambert for a formal quote but typical rates (excluding previous claims, flood area, subsidence etc.) are as follows (per thousand sum insured):
- Tenants in Employment/retired (including persons on JSA) £1.30
- DSS Tenants £1.50
- Students £1.50
- Unoccupied £2.50
- Asylum Seekers £3.00
- Contents Only £5.00
- Commercial £2.00
- Rent loss is available at a small extra cost
A minimum premium of £150.00 applies per portfolio

Storm/Flood/Escape of Water - £500
All other perils - £250
Commercial
Subsidence - £1000

Fire/Lightning/Explosion/Aircraft - Nil
All other perils - £250

Benefits
- £2m Property Owners Liability
- Employers Liability available on request (ask for quote)
- Unoccupancy to provide full perils for up to 60 days. In the case of student lets this to increase to 90 days for the months of Jul/Aug/Sep.
- No exclusion for malicious damage caused by tenants
- A dedicated claims handling service.
